Under the pastoral leadership and spiritual covering of Pastor Be Louis Colleton, Rev. Michael Johnson labored as an Associate Minister of Shiloh Baptist Church, Landover, Md. from 1999-2004.  He was licensed as an Associate Minister of Shiloh on August 1st, 1999 and ordained as Young Adult Minister on November 15th, 2003. On August 3rd, 2002, Rev. Michael married his Howard University sweetheart, Rev. Stacey and they joined in ministry and matrimony. They both graduated with Masters of Divinity Degree from Howard School of Divinity with honors between the years of 2004-2005.   

 In January 2005, Rev. Michael took a sabbatical from Shiloh Baptist Church to allow time for God to minister to him regarding his next call in ministry.  In February of 2005, Rev. Michael met with his Pastor, Rev. Colleton, and explained to him that he was being called out of his home church, Shiloh, to pastor and upstart his ministry with his wife, Stacey.

Pastor Colleton gave his blessing and sent the Johnsons out to minister in the name of Jesus Christ. On June 5, 2005, the Johnsons officially started Kingdom Success Ministries Inc. at the Bowie Town Center Mall in Bowie, Maryland.  On June 8, 2008 during KSM’s 3rd church anniversary week, Pastor Michael moved his congregation into their own church building to hold Sunday Morning Services at the Knights of St. John’s in Bowie, MD.

Pastor Johnson has served the Lord and his Church for more than 9 years in positions such as Youth Minister, Young Adult Minister, Preacher, Teacher, and Pastor.  Currently, Rev. Michael Johnson serves as Senior Pastor and Founder of Kingdom Success Ministries.

Secularly and professionally, Pastor Michael Johnson is currently employed as a Technical Project Manager at a publicly-owned corporation whose mission includes providing information technology and consulting solutions needed throughout the United States and the world.  Prior to working as a Technical Project Manager, Michael worked for over 6 years at a number of first tier technological and financial organizations: Computer Sciences Corporation, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and ICMA-Retirement Corporation to name a few. 

Along with his Master of Divinity, Pastor Michael holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Bowie State University where he concentrated on Banking and Finance.  Currently, Pastor Michael is studying Project Management with plans to return to Bowie State University in pursuit of a Master of Science in Management Information Systems.  Pastor Michael is happily married to Rev. Stacey Johnson, First Lady and Co-Pastor of Kingdom Success Ministries, Inc.
